Photography is the medium in which Kent visualizes the world around him. His visual acuity, his love of mankind and sensitivity to his surroundings enable him to capture the essence of human expression and moments in time. His photographs speak with light and form. They define and illustrate.

Kent employs both traditional and non-traditional methods in his photography. His conceptual photographic illustrations are created digitally while his fine art photography is done with black and white and color films and printed on silver halide emulsions.
